Broome Trike Flights is operated by Charles Batham a Chief Flight Instructor with over 11 years and 3000 hours flying experience who lives and operates his flights all year round in Broome.

Nearly everyone dreams of flying, in one form or another; most of us have travelled on large planes which take us from A to B; some of us have used small planes to do the same.....but how many have just gone flying ? Birds do it all the time ! The "Trike" is about as close as one can get to a bird. We fly very slowly, have great manoeverability, glide extremely well and have a birds eye view. 

These planes are all certified and built in a CASA audited factory - pilot licenses are strictly controled and can only be obtained through authorized current Schools such as Broome Trike Flights. Only qualified flying instructors are permitted to pilot you.

These introductory flights are designed for you to share a great experience in the sky. We start with a briefing in the Broome Trike Flights facility. You are given a Student Pilots License which allows you to try the controls,(only if you wish).

Get a real buzz from flying out of an International Airport in such a small aircraft. You will be listening to the planes radio which is constantly monitoring all the air traffic - yes, Quantas, Virgin, Skywest, Air North etc.....You will hear the radio procedure and how planes have to "join the circuit" for landing. Touch down with a 737 waiting to taxi out onto the same runway !

The all round visibility is second to none - we miss nothing. The perfect way to see the environment laid out below you - it is impossible not to be overwhelmed

The beach landing demonstrates an ability to put down almost anywhere in the smallest area; not just a safety feature - one can pick the most idylic place where no one else can get to !!
