One World Backpacker's is a small family operated hostel in a magnificently restored Australian Federation home . It is our aim to provide guests with a warm, relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Together with the provision of outstanding facilities, we aim to ensure a truly comfortable and personal stay. We invite you to come and enjoy our hospitality and join the One World family. We are pleased to offer a range of 4, 6 and 8 person dorms that have polished floor boards, mirrors, fans and high ceilings creating a bright airy feel. All dorms are equipped with lockers free of charge. Doubles are available with or without ensuites and we cater for families and people with disabilities. All beds have new firm inner-sprung mattresses and fresh clean linen is provided. Kitchen, Bathrooms and Laundry - With a super-deluxe kitchen that has brand new everything including three gas stoves, oven and grill, two microwaves, 3 door glass fridge, toaster, sandwich maker and electric urn for free tea and coffee. The kitchen opens through French doors to a patio area for alfresco dining and there are fresh herbs to be picked for the gourmet chefs.

Built in 1903 and newly renovated, this colonial mansion offers high quality secure accomodation. The hostel features polished wooden floors, high ceilings and stained glass windows. All this combines to make the perfect backpacking hostel, filled with character and a friendly atmosphere. Governor Robinsons is a new, spacious hostel offering colonial style accommodation. Choose from twin/double or triple/share rooms with all linen provided. Doubles have queen size beds and ensuites are available. Our bathrooms are clean and well appointed with endless on-demand hot water. Individual lockers in bedrooms accommodate all luggage and offer security for your belongings.
Our experience has come from backpacking throughout the USA, South America, Asia and Oceania, together with managing backpacker hostels in the USA and Australia. We are sure you will have a great stay and we welcome you to join the Mad Cat family. We have many features and services to make your stay more comfortable and fun. We can pick you up free from the Interstate Train Station and Airport or we are only around the corner from the Greyhound Terminal. 24 hour check-in access is available as the Mad Cat never sleeps and there is free secure parking at the back of the building.
